Celebrating 10 Years on the Front Porch

We can’t even believe that today, December 4, 2014, marks 10 years of the living and serving our East Nashville community.

2014 has been a busy year with blossoming teen girls (ah!), growing boys, and expanding ministry and renovations on the house.

Reflecting on 10 years of ministry, brings up memories of so many things that have been possible for our family and the the families we serve. We have literally been growing up our kids together…walking out and living out true community. THANK YOU to our amazing volunteers and generous donors for making Front Porch Ministry possible.

Real life can be hard and it can be messy (especially for some of our single parent homes) and we try to live our life open, available and authentically with the kids and moms we serve. Over the past 10 years, we have been blessed to see lives changed and encouraged through enjoying hundreds of gallons of summer ice cream and popcorn movie nights together, thousands of Saturday meals served through The Nashville Food Project and countless other opportunities throughout the year.
